Clearly, this is a traffic light. In America driving is a big part of everyday life. Even when we are little, Americans are taught green means go, red means stop, etc. |
This sign represents peace. I chose this symbol because it is very commonly used in America and it goes along with the idea that everyone wants peace. |
I like how you applied emotion to what represents Americans. Stress is a leading cause to conflict, and there is definately too much conflict amoung citizens.
ReplyDeleteYou made an interesting choice when putting stress on your list of American symbols. How true is that! I'm sitting here right now stressing about grading the rest of these posts, as well as getting my house cleaned up and grocery shopping done, on top of about 100 other things on my Sunday list. As a culture, we really need to slow down and enjoy the world around us.
